6 Old Time Candies From Your Past (That You’ll Still Love!)

June is National Candy Month, and we’re going to celebrate by featuring a few of our favorite old time candies! So let’s start this trip down memory lane…

1. Turkish Taffy

Enjoy a true blast from another era with Bonomo’s Turkish Taffies. These were originally made after World War II in Coney Island and are now available again after being discontinued for decades. We have vanilla, banana, chocolate, and strawberry flavors.

2. Old Time Candy Sticks

These old time candy sticks bring back fond childhood memories and are great for snacking, candy buffets, or weddings. We have a variety of flavors to choose from such as tutti fruittisour apple, and even sassafras. Browse to find your favorite flavor!

3. Charleston Chews

A Charleston Chew is a sweet, chewy taffy covered in a chocolate coating. This candy has been around since the 1920s and still remains a candy favorite for kids and adults alike.

4. Dum-Dums

Dum-Dum pops come in a wide assortment of mixed fruity flavors and they’re the perfect size for a quick sugar fix. They started out with seven original flavors, and now have more than 34 flavors – from black cherry to buttered popcorn. Which one’s your favorite?

5. Bit-O-Honey

Bit-O-Honey consists of honey-flavored taffy with almond bits blended in. Because Bit-O-Honey is a hard, chewy candy, each bite-sized piece is a sweet treat that will last you for a while. Bit-O-Honey is a low-fat treat, so enjoy a couple as a satisfying, guilt-free snack.

6. Mallo Cups

Mallo Cups have a whipped marshmallow creme center and are covered in just the right amount of milk chocolate and coconut.

Which one of these candies did you just have to have growing up?

We love the chews, too, even though they do tend to stick to the teeth!
