2) Guacamole

It’s avocado season, so take advantage of this creamy superfood by making your own fresh guacamole at home. Avocados are already power-packed with vitamins, minerals and healthy fats, so adding a dash of spirulina will supercharge your party dip with even more nutrients. Use 2 teaspoons of spirulina per avocado in your recipe. Prepare the guacamole as you normally would, and then sprinkle in the spirulina along with the other spices.

3) Salad Dressing

“Eat your greens” takes on a whole new meaning when you add spirulina right to the dressing! Prepare a simple vinaigrette with olive oil and vinegar, and use 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder for each tablespoon of olive oil. Shake it up! You can even add spirulina to ready-made dressings, or simply sprinkle it over your salads before serving.
