Enter the NutsOnline Father’s Day Giveaway!

Dads are just the tops! Here at NutsOnline, we like to take the time to honor all the fathers who made us who we are today, including Poppy Sol, who founded the company in 1929. Lucky for us, Father’s Day is just a few weeks away!

This year, we’re going to celebrate this special day by offering you, our fantastically nutty fans, the chance to win a medium custom tray for the special father figure in your life. To enter the contest, simply tell us what makes your dad so great! Leave your entry on our Facebook wall or tweet it at us for a chance to win. We’ll choose the winner by random drawing on June 10, just in time to ship a custom tray to the winner’s dad.

You can fill your medium custom tray with just about any nut, dried fruit or snack mix we offer. It’s sure to please your dear old dad (and if you’re especially sweet, maybe he’ll share)!

This contest is only open to those residing in the United States and Canada, as well as those with U.S. military addresses. Get your entry in soon for a chance to give your dad something really special this year!

He is Great simply because he stepped up to be a DAD — literally (He is my stepfather). 🙂

My dad is great because he’s gone through many many difficult times (long unemployment, death of his wife at a young age) and still always has a smile and a big, loving hug for his kids.

My father is going to be 85 June 6th and he is my Inspiration for wanting
to do the best I can. He is still doing a garden – not just a small one but
10 raised beds and 150 or so 5 gal buckets. Right now we have Tomatoes, garlic,
peppers, corn, Zuchinni, parsley, basil etc. Keeps us both busy bur mainly him!
    It’s what keeps him going.

My dad attended every sporting event that me and my brother could throw at him (and there were many) and never complained.

My dad is great because twice he has traveled about 2,000 round trip from NC to IL to help me and my fiance finish our house. He’s stayed with us about 6 or 7 weeks working 7 days a week around the clock on a massive renovation. We really want to get our house done so we can put it on the market and move before we get married, and he’s busted his butt to help make that happen! He’s been away from home, my mom, his friends, his own work, and missed out on appointments and social events to help us!

My father is the most wonderful blessing God has given me. Having raised me, he had to be both father and “mother” to me – and he did it beautifully. Making a playground, toys, track, etc. for me, and as I became a young adult instilling in me a sense that I can pursue any dream I have. I am now age 44, he is 70 years old, a gentle mountain man who loves the wilderness, solitude…and he appreciates chocolates and nuts – so everything I get for him from NutsOnline he finds so good. I would prepare him a great tray for Father’s Day.

my dad is terrific for raising eight great kids who all have strong work ethics and financial responsibility. While our occupations vary from farming to nurse anethesist, we are all successful in the love of our family and respect for others and the environment.

My dad is the greatest! He is a man of true honesty and integrity. He taught us right from wrong and always encouraged us to do our best. He’s like the dad you saw on the ‘old time’ TV shows… smart, ethical, and fun!

My Dad is great because he is always there for me no matter what. He’s gone thru 10 surgeries in the last two years due to a ladder fall. He has two more to go and hopefully he can put all the pain and suffering behind him. Love you Dad!

My Dad is smart, hardworking, and resourseful. He works a full-time job and farms. He’s always there for me and my son. He has an incredible sense of humor and by his example I’ve learned not to take things too seriously, and to laugh at myself! He can make something out of nothing-he recently made plastic cup holders for our Kawasaki Mule. He loves to snack on nuts and he is a crossword puzzle junkie. Those two things make great “just because I love you” gifts.

I have the greatest father ever Wilbur Harold Mincher. He was my pal and spent a great deal of time with me. We camped, fished, and spent many hours in simple discussion. He was a truly good sole, may he rest in peace. I thought I would never see a father as loved by a daughter as “Daddy” in my lifetime. I was wrong because there is another. My son Nathan reminds me a great deal of his Grandfather, Wilbur. Sometimes I think Daddy’s spirit resides with Nathan.

Nathan has lost two loves in his lifetime, yet he has never failed where his children are concerned. He has always been available for them, supported them and loved them. Nathan is a proud marine having been honored fighting for his country and caring about his fellow troops. That courage carried on through the care and guidance of his children. He is not only a proud Marine but also a proud Father. He does everything with them, doctor, dentist, school meetings, dance lesson, and cloths shopping, right down to making their meals. His children adore him and look up to him.

Nathan did not have a shining example of a father in his life to nurture who he is. Nathan was always my buddy, we went everywhere together and I’d like to think I played a part in who he is, to some degree. But somehow I think only God was in the making of this father and man. I am a proud mother of Nathan and admire him each and every day. I admire him for the fine man and father he is and for making it through all those tough periods when he felt alone with a broken heart. No matter how tough it got his children came first and he ALWAYS has done everything with their best interest in mind. Regardless of any awards Nathan is by far one of the finest fathers and human beings I have ever known. I love you son!
