1) Fat-Free Gingerbread Cookies

These soft and fluffy gingerbread cookies have a sweet and bold ginger flavor to put you in the holiday spirit. The dough is made with candied ginger to invigorate your senses, and each cookie is rolled in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon for a delightful treat. The recipe is a lot of fun to make, and even more fun to eat! These are perfect served alongside a tall glass of milk.

2) Gingerbread Kiss Cookies {Gluten-Free, Paleo}

This incredible recipe for gingerbread kiss cookies, developed by Michelle of Cavegirl Cuisine, makes a healthy batch of holiday treats to help you indulge mindfully. We love that her recipe uses a combination of almond flour and coconut flour for a gluten-free and paleo-friendly dessert. It has a hint of molasses and spices, along with the natural sweetness of dates and bananas. The dollop of dark chocolate atop each cookie is a delectable touch to an already delicious treat!

3) Gingerbread Biscotti

Some recipes make you want to curl up with a warm cup of tea, and this one for gingerbread biscotti had that effect on us! The holiday-inspired recipe is from Liz of That Skinny Chick Can Bake, and we’re sure it’ll soon become one of your favorite seasonal treats. She uses crystallized ginger in the biscotti for an extra ginger kick, and signature spices like cinnamon, cloves and allspice. This wonderful recipe is complete with a drizzle of white chocolate to make your taste buds dance.

4) Gingerbread Donuts {Gluten-Free}

These gluten-free gingerbread donuts from Alyssa of Everyday Maven have plenty of ginger warmth. We love that the recipe calls for various coconut products, including coconut palm sugar, coconut flour, and coconut oil. Of course, the flavor that stands out in these delectable spice-laden cakes is that of gingerbread, and we find it fascinating that she uses a dash of cayenne pepper to coax that flavor out even more. This is a must-try recipe for all you gingerbread lovers!

5) Gingerbread Molasses Smoothie {Gluten-Free, Vegan}

If you’re craving that classic gingerbread flavor in a treat that’s as nutritious as it is delicious, then you’ll love this smoothie recipe from McKel of Nutrition Stripped. It incorporates fresh ginger root, warm spices, fruits, and one of our favorite superfoods: chia seeds. The addition of chia seeds adds plenty of fiber, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids to an already healthy beverage. This smoothie would be perfect for breakfast, or even as a fix for your holiday sweet tooth.
